Overview

  • In this sales position, you will take full responsibility for market development of complex technical systems in an international environment. You will be the primary point of contact for all sales-related matters and will actively contribute to the expansion of this business area. You will be supported by an experienced, interdisciplinary team from Product Management, Project Management, Automation, and Engineering. With technical expertise, a keen sense for investment decisions, and strong communication skills, you will play a key role in driving our growth
  • Development and implementation of a market-oriented sales and business development strategy for technically demanding system solutions
  • Conducting market and competitive analyses to identify business opportunities and target markets
  • Building, maintaining, and further developing long-term customer relationships in defined regions – including international travel
  • Planning and coordinating market entry and sales activities in close collaboration with Product Management and Marketing
  • Independently managing the entire sales process – from lead generation to proposal preparation to contract conclusion
  • Organizing and participating in customer events, trade shows, and presentations
  • Supporting and guiding customers throughout the entire project lifecycle – from initial contact to the successful handover of the system
  • Maintaining and updating sales-relevant documentation and customer data

Hardskills

  • Several years of professional experience in international B2B sales of complex capital goods, ideally in a GMP-regulated environment
  • Proven experience in launching new, technically complex products and in strategic market development
  • Technical or business education (HF/FH/University)
  • Confident handling of complex sales processes and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • High level of self-motivation, independence, and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Strong customer and service orientation with a confident demeanor at all hierarchical levels
  • Excellent communication skills and confident presence during presentations and negotiations
  • Negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and a solution-oriented approach
  • Enjoyment of working with interdisciplinary and international teams
